When organizing a vacation to China, it might be tough to pick which towns and landmarks to include in your itinerary because the country is so huge and diverse. Depending on the length of your vacation and your interests, you can go to various places in China.
Creating your own China itinerary by following in the footsteps of others is a convenient and reliable method that may also save you a lot of important time. Keeping this in mind, we conducted a thorough investigation into the preferences of thousands of passengers we served from around the world in 2018. We’ve produced this list of our most popular tours for first-time visitors to China, categorized by length based on their preferences.
For up to 3 Days
Beijing is the most popular choice for tourists with a limited time in China, such as those passing through the country who want to do a stopover tour or business travelers who want to spend a few days sightseeing. You may gain an idea of Chinese culture and history by visiting Beijing, also known as the country’s cultural and political center and the gateway to the Great Wall. Beijing has plenty to offer visitors, but two days is generally not enough time to see everything the city offers. Three days will give you more time to take it easy and get a better sense of the local culture between trips to well-known attractions.
For four days, you can either stay in Beijing and enjoy a more leisurely and comprehensive tour of the city or choose a more efficient, fast-paced time and visit Xi’an or Shanghai, depending on your preferences. We propose either the Beijing-Xi’an or Beijing-Shanghai route if you have five to six days. The Terracotta Army, a must-see in Xi’an, can be seen only by taking a Beijing-Xi’an tour. On the other hand, the Beijing-Shanghai itinerary will provide you the opportunity to see China’s financial metropolis and its intriguing colonial past in one fell swoop. There are several options for extending your Beijing-Xi’an travel, including Pingyao, a small but superbly preserved historic city from the Ming and Qing dynasties, or you can add a visit to Suzhou or Hangzhou to your Beijing–south China tour.
